What's new for Lovely Sparrow & Co.
It's been a while since I've posted what's new for Lovely Sparrow & Co, so I thought I'd show you a few pieces which are now available. There are a few more piece to be added in the coming weeks, but this is just a taste of what you can buy this minute!!

New range: Mixed Bag of Goodies
Over the past couple of months, I've been busy, busy, busy creating my current range for the Marika King Designer Jewellery line, which is titled, "Mixed Bag of Goodies". Because it's just that, a mixed bag of goodies. There is no one single underlying theme to it, just a bit of this and a bit of that. It ranges from deer heads, to lovehearts, skulls to flowers, and throw in a bit of Parisian love. But of course, things never go off without a hitch. Just as I was ready to launch the range, my pc was out of action......then when I got it back, it was worse then it was before I took it to the technician! So, this range was thrown wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy off schedule :(

What's New?
I've been busy working on the Marika King jewellery range as well as the Lovely Little Shop Of pieces. A new range from my main line will be coming out in the next few weeks, which is really exciting as I've been re-working the structure of the business, creating a new wholesale website for my stockists, to make it easier as well as creating small ranges more often. I've almost got the next 2 ranges designed and samples almost finished!!!! But in the meantime, my brain decided it doesn't want to stop, so I've been making a few little bits and pieces for the Lovely Little Shop Of, which is gathering a bit of momentum. I'll be showing these new pieces at the Up and Comers Fashion Market next month (details to come, it's going to be part of L'Oreal Fashion week!!).
So in the meantime, here are a few new pieces that have been added to the Lovely Little Shop Of. Enjoy!

Introducing the Lovely Little Shop Of.......
Introducing my newest baby, the Lovely Little Shop Of. Part of the Marika King Designer Jewellery family, this line is a more youthful and whimsical range of jewellery and accessories. It embodies all the same qualities as the main line, all pieces are handmade using new and vintage pieces from all over the world, however this line isn't available in boutiques, only online and at the occasional designer market. All pieces are either one of a kind or limited editions, meaning, if you love it, don't hesitate or else it might be gone forever!
Currently, the range is only available on etsy however, we are looking at possibly linking it into the Marika King website in the near future.

Introducing The Vintage Princess
OK, OK, I said I was gonna come back soon, but once again, I got lost in my crazy world and my poor blog got pushed down my list of things to do :( I really do miss it, but with a family and designing, creating and launching this new range, and taking on new stockists...........well, things have been a lil crazy. We had the official launch a few weeks ago at Lady Petrova boutique in Flinders Lane in Melbourne, a lovely lil tea party!

Come and say hi!!
If you live in Melbourne (Australia) and are free this Saturday, why not come by to the Up & Comers Fashion Market!! With this cold, miserable weather we've been having, you don't have to miss out on those market visits as it's indoors at the Belgian Beer Cafe. Not only will there be lot's of fashion and accessories from Australian up and coming designers, you can grab a beer, or a yummy waffle and listen to some groovy DJ's. The market caters for both guys and girls so you can drag your man along. And if he doesn't feel like shopping, he can sit back and have a beer!! What a great way to spend a saturday arvo.

Get embellished with Fashion Journal
I guess it's every designers dream, the first time they see one of their pieces featured in a magazine, and it's finally happened!!!
The "Fly Swallow Fly Cuff" has been featured in the current issue of Fashion Journal (Australia). And it's such an honor to be amongst well established and well respected designers.

I'm back..........with a new range!!!
I'm back!!!!!!! In what feels like forever!! I've been so busy putting this new collection together, so now I'm proud to present the finished product - The Enchanted Collection!
So what is this collection about? Lot's of pretty bows, ballerina's, birds (as usual), flowers, leaves, deers, love and anything whimsical. And whilst we are approaching winter here in the Southern Hemisphere, so there are some more wintery and dark pieces, there are lot's of bright and cheerful pieces because:

- Who wants a range of dark and dreary pieces even if it is winter. It's so nice to brighten it up!!
